Children have so much to offer to the world - we believe in the power that they hold, and know that they will mold future generations to come. At Brighton Family Foundation, we partner with individuals in high need areas, provide a range of social services, including assistance and a school readiness program. In addition, we promote a healthy lifestyle by advocating outdoor exploration, through urban gardening, fitness, increased produce consumption and general increase in outdoor investigation and environmental awareness.

Urban Gardening
Growing a Better Future
BFF participates in Urban gardening through partnering with local community gardens and co-ops. Participating families picked from a petitioned list agree to select amount of volunteer hours’ community gardening. Not only do they enjoy the fitness and wellness benefits of gardening but take no more than (10 lbs.) of food home for the participating season.
Outdoor Exploration
Take Time To Unplug and Connect
The BFF Center exist to provide advocacy for families and individuals in the high-need low to moderate socioeconomic income brackets. Our primary form of advocacy is sponsoring healthy lifestyle, through connection with nature.
Fitness and Exercise
Refining Leaders
Outdoor exploration objectives are met including fitness and environmental awareness as well as produce consumption. Consumption of whole food produce and supplying our partners, the local food banks and childcare providers with those items.

As a professional teacher and dedicated parent I have concluded that life yields more bountiful when we simply treat others the way we would want to be treated. That said, I believe we are as great as our communities, particularly those with the greatest needs.
That is why I founded Brighton Family Foundation, a back to nature initiative that re-introduces inner city residence to the nature of their immediate environment, greater forest and outdoor exploration.

As a wife, mother and business owner, Alecia has developed an understanding that service begins with those closes to you. Utilizing her resources and talents within her everyday life is a style of service this busy woman prides herself on and aspires to perfect routinely.
Being intricately linked with growing her own private businesses from the ground to profitability, Alecia brings real life experience to the managing and fundraising well-being of Brighton Family Foundation.
